Wify, a cutting-edge technology-enabled construction and home improvement platform, has successfully raised Rs 25 crore in a funding round spearheaded by Mount Judi Ventures, with significant participation from existing investor Capria Ventures, Blume Founders Fund, and other stakeholders.

The Mumbai-based firm plans to channel these funds into deepening its presence in existing categories, expanding into new ones, and enhancing its software and technology infrastructure. This move is aimed at bolstering Wify's capacity building and value-added services, further solidifying its position in the market.

In a statement, Wify emphasized its commitment to using the capital to advance its on-site installation and post-purchase services, which have been instrumental in its growth trajectory.

Vikram Sharma, CEO of Wify, expressed enthusiasm about the funding boost, stating, "This funding will help accelerate our growth through technology deployment and inorganic growth opportunities. It will help realize our vision of becoming the No. 1 brand for upgradation, repair, and maintenance of urban homes."

Founded in 2019 by Sharma and Deepanshu Goel, Wify has established itself as a leader in on-site installation and post-purchase services, catering to businesses and brands with its comprehensive solutions.

Ebaad Momin, Partner at Mount Judi Ventures, highlighted Wify’s market impact, saying, "Wify’s full-stack B2B2C solution has gained significant traction in the home improvement and maintenance space because it effectively addresses a critical market need.”

Wify's innovative approach includes leveraging generative AI for training and onboarding workers, providing on-the-job support, and enhancing customer service. With a robust network of 3,000 technicians across 100 cities in India, and partnerships with over 100 global and local brands including IKEA, Amazon, Godrej, and Hettich, Wify is well-positioned for continued growth.

Surya Mantha, Managing Partner at Capria Ventures, shared his optimism, saying, “As early investors in Wify, we've witnessed the company emerge as the No. 1 after-sales installation and SaaS solutions provider in the furniture and fittings industry. We are confident about the team's ability to ‘own the home’ by expanding into other use-cases like smart homes, appliances, plumbing, etc.”

Wify's journey has been marked by significant milestones, including a $2 million funding round in July 2022 led by Blume Founders Fund and Unitus Ventures. This recent infusion of Rs 25 crore is expected to further propel Wify towards achieving its ambitious goals and redefining the home improvement landscape.

Wify's latest funding round underscores the growing investor confidence in its business model and market potential.
