Plotch Becomes First AI-Driven Platform to Surpass 10 Million Transactions on ONDC Network

Plotch, a key player in the ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) ecosystem, has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 10 million cumulative transactions through its network infrastructure. This achievement marks a major step forward for the AI-driven enterprise software startup, which was founded in 2022 by Craftsvilla founder Manoj Gupta and his wife Monica Gupta.

Plotch’s Rapid Growth and Vision for the Future

As a specialized provider of ONDC rails infrastructure, Plotch has quickly established itself as a crucial enabler within the ONDC network. The company offers cutting-edge technology solutions for both buyers and sellers on the platform, driving the growth of digital commerce in India.

"As pioneers in ONDC digital infrastructure since 2022, we aim for our next milestone of 100 million cumulative transactions through our network. Our north star metric is the number of transactions, and we anticipate reaching 1 billion transactions per month by the end of this decade, given ONDC's rapid scaling," said Manoj Gupta, CEO of Plotch. Plotch's impressive growth trajectory is supported by venture capital funds like Antler India and Venture Catalysts. The company boasts an impressive client list that includes Snapdeal, Ola, Meesho, and Bluestar. Over the past two years, Plotch has seen a staggering 1000-fold increase in transaction volume, underscoring its pivotal role in the ONDC ecosystem.

ONDC's Broader Impact and Future Outlook

Plotch’s milestone coincides with ONDC’s recent announcement of completing 68 million transactions within its network. Plotch’s technology platform has been instrumental, powering approximately 30% of all retail category transactions on the network. Based on current growth trends, ONDC projects that it will reach three billion quarterly transactions within the next three years, with Plotch expected to power around 750 million of those.

While food, grocery, and fashion currently dominate retail orders on ONDC, other categories like home and electronics are poised for significant growth in the near future, according to industry predictions.
