Nayan Tech, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven startup focused on road safety and traffic monitoring, has raised $2 million in a funding round led by Beenext. Other participants in the round include We Founder Circle, Venture Catalysts, Lets Venture, and FAAD Capital. This fresh infusion of capital will be used to expand Nayan Tech’s innovative AI and Internet of Things (IoT)-powered solutions both domestically and internationally.

AI-Powered Solutions for Road Safety

Founded by Jayant Ratti, Nayan Tech leverages AI and vision processing to provide real-time road safety solutions. Its signature product, the Nayan dashcam, is designed for a variety of applications including fleet management, law enforcement, and smart city projects. By collecting visual data, the dashcam helps detect traffic violations, monitor road conditions, and analyze driver behavior—all in real-time.

“Nayan serves multiple stakeholders, from transportation and traffic police to civic bodies, insurance companies, and fleet operators,” said Ratti, the startup's founder and managing director. “With this new funding, we’re excited to scale these solutions further, both in India and beyond.”

Expanding Through AI, Dashcams, and Drones

Nayan Tech combines dashcams, drones, and smart mobile applications to collect data from a variety of sources such as vehicles, public transport, and delivery fleets. The AI algorithms process this data to monitor and address critical issues like driver behavior, traffic violations, and infrastructure damage. This information is vital for improving urban mobility and ensuring public safety.

Growing Customer Base and Future Prospects

The startup has already signed up over 17,000 drivers across India, who provide crowd-sourced video footage that powers Nayan Tech’s AI engine. Currently, Nayan Tech boasts 35 contracted customers and has 60 more in the pipeline, with a total order book valued at Rs 35 crore. As the company continues to expand, it aims to become a key player in AI-powered traffic and road safety management on a global scale.

Scaling Smart Solutions for Safer Cities

Nayan Tech's ability to serve multiple industries through a single platform makes it an attractive partner for governments and businesses alike. Its solutions are crucial for traffic management, public safety, and urban infrastructure maintenance. As cities become more connected and digitized, Nayan Tech’s AI-driven approach offers a smarter way to manage road safety challenges, reduce accidents, and enhance the efficiency of traffic systems.
