Gravity, a home interior materials platform set up by former Livspace executives Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, has raised $15 million in equity and debt. The money gives the young company room to build shared infrastructure for kitchen and wardrobe suppliers and to move into new material categories.
Gravity, a full-stack platform for premium home interior materials, has raised $15 million (around ₹142.7 crore) in a mix of equity and debt, the company announced on 30 September 2026. 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures led the round, with Alteria Capital, Genesia Ventures and a group of angel investors taking part.
Inc42 reported that the company did not disclose how the total splits between equity and debt. The angels, according to The Hindu BusinessLine, include founders of investment funds, listed companies and start-ups.
What the money is for
Gravity plans to spend the capital on its technology, distribution and key-account infrastructure, on entering new categories, on building its brand, and on the working capital it needs as the platform grows.
The company began with businesses in the kitchen and wardrobe segment. Over time it wants to add doors and windows, lighting, wall surfaces, home automation and related categories, selling them to the same customers over the same operating backbone. Its first target customers are design-and-build studios and modular showrooms, which sit close to the point where materials are discovered, specified and bought.
BusinessLine reported that Gravity started with a revenue base of several hundred crore rupees and has been EBITDA-positive from the first day, through the businesses it brought together. The platform's pitch to designers and studios is simpler sourcing, better availability and service, and clearer pricing across categories.
Anand Batra of 3one4 Capital's investments team said the founders "have operated inside this ecosystem at scale and understand both the customer and the supply gaps."
About Gravity
Gravity was founded by Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, both previously senior leaders at home interiors company Livspace. BusinessLine says Jain was CEO India at Livspace and helped take it to an annualised revenue run rate of about ₹1,500 crore, while Mittal was Chief Business Officer India and led its expansion to 30 cities. Inc42 describes Jain as a Livspace co-founder.
According to Inc42, Jain co-founded DezignUp, which was acquired in 2014, and worked as a management consultant early in his career. Mittal was an AVP at Meesho before he joined Livspace in 2019. Both are IIT Delhi alumni, and both left Livspace in February this year.
Rather than run a marketplace or act as a supplier, Gravity groups specialist interior materials businesses under shared technology, distribution, key-account management and operations. Inc42 has also described it as a house of brands for premium homes.
BusinessLine cites an estimate that India's home interiors market is worth about $35 billion, of which design-specified materials make up roughly $15 billion. Inc42 cites a different figure of $20 billion for the interior materials market, and names AllHome, founded by PharmEasy's co-founders, as a competitor.
