Alive App raises $1 million seed from Powerhouse, Flipkart Ventures

Alive App, a Bengaluru platform for booking curated leisure experiences, has raised $1 million in seed funding led by Powerhouse Ventures with Flipkart Ventures joining. The startup, profitable for a quarter in its home city, wants users to book experiences more often and is aiming to triple revenue.

Alive App, a Bengaluru-based platform for discovering and booking curated experiences, has raised $1 million in a seed round led by Powerhouse Ventures, with Flipkart Ventures participating. The round was reported on 28 September 2026.

It is Powerhouse's second time leading a round in the company. The startup raised ₹6 crore in a pre-seed round led by Powerhouse Ventures last year.

What the money is for

Alive App said it will use the capital to widen its catalogue of experiences and grow its supply of hosts and partners. The aim is to get city dwellers to take part in leisure and experience-based activities more often.

The company is targeting three times its current revenue over the next few months. Its stated focus is frequency: getting existing users to come back and book more, not just signing up new ones.

Alive App says it now adds around 100 new experiences a month. In its newer cities, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Goa, experience supply has grown five times faster than it did during the company's first phase of expansion.

About Alive App

Vivek Kumar founded Alive App in 2023. The platform, which describes itself as AI-powered experience-tech, helps users find curated activities across adventure, food, wellness, art, culture and learning, and the company is building both the technology and the supply network behind them.

It operates in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Goa, listing more than 500 experiences run by over 400 creators and partners. Bengaluru is its first and largest market, and the company says it recorded its first profitable quarter there. Over the past six months it has entered Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi, in addition to Goa.

Experience platforms are using technology to pull together scattered activities, hosts and customers as urban demand for experiential spending grows. Others in the space include Bucketlistt, which raised ₹1.07 crore in pre-seed funding in June to build a marketplace for verified experiences, and Urbanaut, which curates city experiences, workshops and pop-ups. Experiential travel brand WanderOn raised ₹54 crore in a Series A this year.
