An IIT Delhi graduate who worked at Amazon before co-founding Flipkart in 2007, he ran operations and supply chain in the early years, took over as chief executive in 2016 and became group chief executive after the Walmart deal. He resigned in November 2018. Since then he has founded the e-commerce enablement venture OppDoor and invested in a broad set of Indian and international startups.
