About
Shreshth Mishra is a co-founder of Simple Energy, the Bengaluru-based electric scooter maker that Suhas Rajkumar founded in 2019. He studied engineering at Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology (BBDNIIT) in Lucknow. Simple Energy was his second startup: before it he was involved with Tiffilo, a subscription meal-delivery and cloud-kitchen business, and his EV India Show speaker profile says he stayed associated with it. Mishra joined Simple Energy as a co-founder after hearing Rajkumar's plan for an Indian-built electric scooter aimed at range anxiety, charging and affordability; Ankit Gupta later joined as the third co-founder. YourStory's people directory lists him as co-founder and chief communications officer. Mishra spoke for the company on its September 2026 Series C, a ₹1,750 crore round led by the Dr Arokiaswamy Velumani Family Office. He told BusinessLine the money would fund manufacturing capacity, a stronger vendor base and a larger sales and service network, and that rising metal and component costs remained a key challenge. He told YourStory that production would grow on the existing Krishnagiri campus rather than on new land, and that every new retail outlet would come with its own service centre.
