Sanjay Aggarwal is a co-founder of Moneyview, the Bengaluru-based digital lending company, where he is an executive director and chief technology officer. He is also whole-time director and chief executive of Whizdm Finance, Moneyview's NBFC subsidiary that lends directly to customers. He has been a director of the company since it was incorporated as Whizdm Innovations on 11 August 2014. Aggarwal holds a B.Tech in mechanical engineering from IIT Delhi. Moneyview says he spent more than two decades in technology, including at Infosys, where he helped scale engineering, and at Yahoo's Indian software development arm. He then started his first venture, Minglebox, an education-technology platform, before co-founding Moneyview with Puneet Agarwal. At Moneyview he has built the infrastructure behind its web servers, cloud systems and network storage. The company uses its own credit-scoring models and alternative data to offer unsecured personal loans to underserved and new-to-credit borrowers. Its ₹1,092 crore IPO in September 2026 was subscribed 98.46 times, and the shares listed on 1 October 2026 at ₹55.61 on BSE, 63.56% above the issue price.
Aggarwal was one of the promoter selling shareholders in the IPO's offer for sale: Inc42 reported that he sold about 1.35 crore shares for ₹46.06 crore and retained about 14.55 crore shares. According to the prospectus, his pay from Whizdm Finance from April 2025 is ₹3 crore a year including variable pay.
