About
Naiyya Saggi is the co-founder and chief executive of EDT, a Mumbai-based consumer appliance brand she started in 2025 with Vyasateja Rao, founder of the industrial design studio Analogy. She earned a BA LLB (Hons) from the National Law School in India and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2012, where she was a Fulbright and J.N. Tata scholar, and worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and at the Bridgespan Group in Boston. She returned to India and in February 2015 launched BabyChakra, a Mumbai-based online community for parents, with Mitesh Karia. BabyChakra was acquired by MyGlamm in August 2021, and Saggi joined the Good Glamm Group as a co-founder of MyGlamm. She left the group in 2024. EDT sells air fryers, kettles and kitchen accessories, including its LUMA and FLOW lines, through its own site, Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit and Croma, and is moving into beauty technology with the SUKI hair dryer. After a $1.4 million round in December 2025, EDT raised $2.4 million in a pre-Series A round in September 2026 led by existing investor Sauce.vc.
