Gajendra Jangid

Co-founder (advisory role), Cars24

About

Gajendra Jangid, known at the company as Gajju, is a co-founder of Cars24 and was its chief marketing officer from the company's start in 2015 until April 2026, when he moved from his executive role to an advisory position. Before Cars24 he worked at Schlumberger, the oilfield services company, including as an operations manager, and also spent time at Farplas. He co-founded Cars24 with Chopra, Mehul Agrawal and Ruchit Agarwal in 2015. Announcing his step back, Chopra credited him with building the Cars24 brand, creating the Crashfree product, backing the talent he hired and opening doors for Team-BHP and CarInfo. In an internal note Jangid said the company no longer depended on him to keep moving forward. A Cars24 spokesperson said he remains with the firm and will stay involved in the brand, Crashfree and the wider mission. In a 2020 interview he named Cars24 becoming a unicorn as his proudest moment of that year.
